About SHAF
SHAF has been preserving and protecting historic sites related to the Battle of Antietam, the Maryland Campaign, and other Civil War activity in the region since 1986.

Our Mission
Rapid growth and development threatens the history and charm of the Antietam Valley. Established in 1986, SHAF is working to promote the preservation and restoration of the scenic area in and around the Antietam Battlefield.
