Spring Work Day

Our Spring Work Day was very successful with nearly a dozen people turning out to work on the Ninth Corps Attack Field. The park is putting much emphasis on this part of the field, and it was a thrill to help restore it. Watch for our announcement of upcoming Work Days.

General Membership Meeting

SHAF will be holding a General Membership Meeting on March 21, 2015 at the Mumma Farm, Antietam National battlefield, starting at 10:00 a.m. We think it is time, after 30 years of saving battlefield land, it is time to re-examine of goals, purpose and structure to align ourselves for the next few decades. Any person who has contributed to SHAF in any way over the past few years is invited to attend and voice their opinion. Responding here will help us get an idea how many chairs to set out, thank you.
